Update on Christchurch Aftershocks and Damage
It is believed that the two stong aftershocks in Christchurch on the 13th June will seal the fate of some buildings in the CBD. News reports stated that approximately 50 more buildings will be on the demolition list after today's shakes. In the 24 hour period of the 13th June, Christchurch experienced 50 aftershocks of varying strengths. Click here for an update on the situation in Christchurch.
