Two Major Aftershocks in Christchurch

Drama in Christchurch


Christchurch New Zealand was shaken by two major aftershocks on Monday 13th June. These measured 5.5 and 6.0 on the Richter scale. The second shake caused further damage including the collapse of more buildings, rock falls and liquefaction. Christchurch Airport was evacuated and closed for several hours and most malls and shopping centres are still closed. Click here for more details.
