5.1 Christchurch Aftershock on 22nd July 2011

Christchurch Store Owners Open Shop in Shipping Containers
As more and more buildings are demolished as a result of the devastating Christchurch earthquakes, shop owners are turning to prefabricated huts and shipping containers to house their businesses. While this is a temporary measure for most, it is a viable one that is being supported by locals. 4.3 Aftershock in Christchurch on 11th July 2011

Helicopter Ride Across the Earthquake Red Zone of Christchurch
Helipro in Christchurch is offering people a chance to view the earthquake-ravaged CBD from the air - and also to help raise funds for the Kate Barron Trust. Kate was trapped in the PGC building after the 22nd February earthquake and subsequently lost both her legs. The flights last 15 minutes and cost $145. $25 of this will go to the Trust.
